Reminiscing.

I don't feel much like studying. What do I do instead? Blog and listen to music because Etsy is down. As a result, a piece of my heart is broken. I think it may be the aortic valve.

I decided that my best artful ideas come from me in a half asleep state and/or boring lectures (me in a half asleep state). Yup. There's definitely a pattern.

Pondering about a possible next project. A series I shall name One to Another. I'd speak more about it but I don't want to get too much ahead of myself, as I often do. Not sure how it'll pan out. First, I'll do some experimenting and report back.

I've been thinking about Tanzania a lot. I volunteered there last summer for 3 weeks and it was one of the best moments of my life. True story. If you are at all interested, I have a very short (at times mushy) blog about my trip.

I really miss those days. I was so happy to be there. Was sad to leave.

This is where I post a picture of myself in Zanzibar - an island near Tanzania. I realized that there are no pictures of myself to be found and it feels strange to be all secretive-like. Probably doesn't meet your imagined image. I know how it is.

The one on the right is me, Margins...I mean Evalynn. The one on the left is Alex. She's from Georgia. She would always say: "Bless your heart." It was fantastic.

Slow internet connection is killing me slowly.

Love, Evalynn.

Oh dear. That's what happened? Actually, Etsy being down saved me, because it forced me to do my projects for the academy. I didn't go to sleep, had a "White night", and unfortunately the teacher didn't like the result at all. Asshole. But I do find my best work is in the dead of night (or early morning).
You remind me, I have to go through all the blogs I read, I want to know what everyone are doing!

What volunteer program were you part of?

You have a great blog. I have linked it from my blog and will be visiting again. Very cute picture and I also love the picture of your workspace. Your work is amazing!

The Time Is Now: It didn't save me at all. I should have done some school reading but I just stuck around, just in case Etsy decided to show up.

I can't believe your teacher didn't like your work! I hate it when that happens.

I was a part of Cross Cultural Solutions: http://www.crossculturalsolutions.org/

It was good to me.

I think up great ideas just before I go to sleep. Then I just hope that I remember them when I wake up. Great picture and sounds like a great experience!

Aw...shucks. You guys are sweet. I feel slightly exposed, but I guess putting my face out there in the open is a good thing. Ha.

Still feels weird to scroll down my blog and bam, there's my face.
